COURSES FOR CHILDREN - THE PIRATES SHIP

The activity is aimed at developing language memory through play.

It allows to:

• put the languages into practice learning the names of things and actions through play and handling of objects;
• define the range of action of a foreign language in a more concrete way (everything that exists in the ship is spoken in a different language);
• stimulate the active participation and the interaction between the children.

The aim is to teach children to express themselves in a foreign language fully aware of what they are saying and to build a stable auditory and visual memory of the new language.

This activity involves groups of up to 10 children between the ages of 5 and 10.

Each course consists of 10 two hours lessons once a week, plus an extra session where parents are invited onto the ship by the children and are shown around in the new language.

Languages already available:

English for French, Italian or Spanish speakers

Italian for English, French or Spanish speakers

French for English, Italian or Spanish speakers
